M&S Property Plan A – Embodied Carbon Study

Sturgis Carbon Profiling has been appointed by Marks & Spencer to review and develop low embodied carbon strategies for its Property Plan A.

The Embodied Carbon study focuses on Simply Foods and the ‘Hot spots’ of walls, floors and ceilings, but in the context of the overall embodied carbon footprint for a typical store. A number of feasible opportunities have been identified for M&S to reduce the embodied carbon impact of its store development that also deliver cost savings.
